HOA Coach

I had a site where I’d hoped to help leaders and members of homeowner associations. There’s no money in it, and very little satisfaction in doing it for free.

There were a couple of people I helped that I really enjoyed. Val and Mike contacted me some time ago, saying they felt somewhat persecuted by the current board and management company. Val called me a few months ago to let me know Mike was on the board now, and things were a lot better, according to them and their neighbors.

The site has come down, though as of this writing the YouTube channel is still up.

Here’s a partial screen shot of my favorite blog post:

I’m still on my board… but not really “feeling it” lately. The whole HOA industry is exactly that: an industry, with profit motives, employee churn, hidden agendas. Good luck if you’re involved in any way. The two reasons I stay on the board: to look out for my neighbors, and to look out for myself.
